Quincy Better Block Event

Description

The Quincy Better Block will be a colorful and vibrant space running in the middle of B Street in Quincy, Washington. Designed by the Better Block and drawing inspiration from La Rambla in Barcelona, the temporary space is intended to cultivate community in a bit of an unexpected space, encourage and support entrepreneurs and existing businesses to utilize space, and create a fun concept that could be recreated.

The project, which will be open and tested for two days, will feature a variety of furniture, cut by the students at the Career and Technical Department of the Quincy School District, a stage and planter boxes from apple bins, and local vendors and performers.

Open on Friday evening, the site will feature games, music, and food. And on Saturday, it will feature the Farmers Market. Please visit, sample the space, listen to some local music, and provide your feedback through the onsite surveys to help us move this concept forward.
