Join us on Saturday, October 5th from 9:30am-3:30pm for our annual Grape Picking & Stomping Harvest Festival this year paired with, Chef Magana’s Paella lunch party! (some of the best Paella in the PNW) 9:30-10am- Check in & Mimosa’s at our Piazza (juice for those under 21) (the grape lined grass oval near our parking lot) 10am-We will walk to the vineyard with our buckets & pruner in hand (we will provide). Winemaker Freddy will talk about the process of how to know when to pick each vineyard and how to pick the grapes properly. 10:15-11:15am-Grape picking 11:15-11:30am-Short walk to the crush pad to see the grapes you harvested go through the sorting, de-stemming and crushing process. With a question & answer period with Winemaker Freddy Arredondo. 11:30-11:45am- Stepping inside our production facility we will learn about yeast additions in wine, the “punch down process” and fermentation while you enjoy your first wine of the day or non-alcoholic drink for those under 21. 11:45-12pm- We will join Chef Magana on our outdoor amphitheater stage to learn about making Paella and watch him in action as he cooks your lunch. 12pm-12:45 We will walk to one of our most beautiful Cliffside locations, with a gorgeous canyon view, to learn about the Geology of the area, the Missoula floods and why we can grow 18 varieties of grapes, all while enjoying our Winemaker Tailgate: charcuterie platter & wine (or non-alcoholic beverage for those underrage) 1pm- Chef Magana’s Paella Party-lunch on our Stage B Amphitheater Field Green Salad with White Balsamic Vinaigrette Paella(saffron rice, clams, mussels, beef, chicken, prawns & chorizo) Artisan Bread Basket *One glass of wine is included with your lunch additional glasses or bottles may be purchased at our wine bar. 1:45-2pm- Grape Stomping Competition- Round 1 2-2:15pm- Grape Stomping Competition- Round 2 2:15-3pm- Grape Stomping Competition- Kid’s Round- Round 3 3-3:30pm- Finalist Round, Closing Remarks & Day of Wine Specials
